Your help is needed to continue the work we are doing here at Indiana Academy. Here are some of the areas where you can give today:
By supporting the Student Assistance Fund, you are a part of the reason that over 115 students are able to attend Indiana Academy every year. Donations to this fund go towards supporting those students who deserve a quality education but don't have the financial means to do so on their own. Whether it's a yearly or monthly gift, the students at IA are thankful for your continuous support. If you are a first-time donor, this is a great start to making a big impact.
Home economics room remodel
We strive to provide well maintained and up-to-date facilities to the students who attend Indiana Academy. In the Spring of 2020, we began our most recent Campus Improvement project, the remodel of our Home Economics classroom! Our newly remodeled Home Economics classroom will feature all new epoxy flooring, stainless steel appliances and work surfaces, and movable tables and chairs to accommodate the varied used of the space. The amenities offered by this facility will not only be enjoyed by students enrolled in Essentials of Living; the room is frequently used for Health class and for preparing regional dishes in Spanish, English and History classes. Project 58 will utilize the space when sewing blankets for at-risk mother and visitors can request access to the room during events such as Alumni Weekend and Camp Meeting.
Next-Step Capital Campaign
Indiana Academy is not afraid to dream big! Thanks to the support of the Indiana conference constituents and many of the Alumni and Friends of Indiana Academy, those dreams are beginning to become a reality. The Next Step campaign began in 2016 with a vision of remodeling our Boys' Dorms (Step 1), expanding our Girls' Dorm (Step 2), and connecting the Boys' Dorms (Step 3). In the summer of 2017, our Boys' Dorms were equipped with air-conditioning and in the summer of 2018, all 30 rooms were newly renovated with fresh furniture and flooring, and all 6 bathrooms were completely remodeled.
There are still many more steps to take as we complete our "thousand mile" journey, but each contribution you make towards these efforts is one more Next Step towards completion. Together, if we are all willing to give a little, we can reach our goal of providing the future generations of Indiana Academy alumni the type of quality facilities that they can proudly call "home".
